Acting Like a Tourist

I guess for all intents and purposes I still consider myself kind of a tourist because I don’t intend on staying here long-term. Oh well.

I visited St. Thomas Church (Thomaskirche) here in Leipzig. I’m not super religious but I still appreciate churches aesthetically. This one is quite gorgeous. Bach was the choirmaster there for many years and it is his final resting place. I absolutely love the stain glass windows; they are beautifully done. I highly recommend you check it out if you’re ever in Leipzig. For more information, check out this link here: http://www.thomaskirche.org/

We also visited Dresden for a bit and I’m sorry we didn’t get to stay longer. I’m pretty sleepy right now and I need to work soon so I’m going to post more about that later.

  1. I think I should give it a chance and visit that church one day.
